‘Dreamfall Chapters’ News: New Release Date for Xbox One & PS4, Soundtrack Details & Key Features Finally Revealed [VIDEO]

"Dreamfall Chapters," the 3D adventure game set in cyberpunk and fantasy parallel worlds, has announced details on its soundtrack. A revised released date has also been unveiled.

Koch Media, a German video game company, reportedly confirmed a new release date for the Xbox One and PS4 adventure which will be on the second quarter of 2017, specifically on May 2. Looking back, "Dreamfall Chapters" was originally destined to make an Xbox One and PS4 release in March 2017.

"Dreamfall Chapters" is said to take place across two alternate worlds -- one is a dark cyberpunk vision of the future while the other is a magical fantasy realm. The game follows two improbable heroes on their journey across worlds with one goal -- to save the very fabric of reality from falling apart entirely. The game promises to offer various kinds of adventure, ranging from mature to dark to  magical.

Together with the announcement of the new release date, it has also been confirmed that Simon Poole, the award winning composer, will be the one sorting the audio behind it. Poole is the amazing mastermind behind the 48 tracks that mark the game's atmosphere.

Note that the soundtrack can be heard in full in the PS4 version of "Dreamfall Chapters" as a downloadable code. It is also available on Xbox One, where it can be grabbed as an MPS3 disc. Its international release is expected on May 5. Upon purchase, the full story will be included with all five episodes and other bonus features. It will be priced at $29.99.

Some of the key features included are diverse worlds, challenging puzzles and riddles and three playable characters. Players get to shape the story, the course and the game's far-reaching decisions feature. You can find all other features here.
