"Bones" Season 12 is turning out to be a spectacular sendoff for the series and on the last episode, Hodgins discovered proof to clear Zack Addy - almost. He found a microbial signature on one of the bones which are believed to be Brennan's. As he went on, he revealed the finding to Cam but she questioned it and suggested that Hodgins could have planted evidence to relieve Zack from the accusations. After working for years with Hodgins, suddenly, Cam treats him like this? Will this change the dynamics of their relationship?

In this week's episode, Brennan's dad gets a spotlight; before, he was just hiding a hospital bracelet but now it was revealed he has some health issues unknown to Brennan. He has a healthy glow and Brennan thought so too. He went to the front porch after a private call and Brennan confronted his strange actions lately. He then came clean regarding his heart issues. Brennan took it badly that her father is hiding his health issues. She was hurt that something serious is being hidden from her and the fact she couldn't be there with him and went through with it without her support. Booth wants Brennan to calm down and give her father a break

With the final season of "Bones" unfolding, Brennan takes the news about her father hiding his health issues really badly, to say the least. She’s not only hurt that he hid something so serious from her, but we can see that she’s feeling bad that she couldn’t have been there for him and that he went through this without her support. Booth thinks that Brennan should give her father a break since he obviously kept this from her so she won’t worry about him, but she loves her father and wanted to have been there for him while going through this.

"Bones" also had Aldo Clemens story revisited in this episode as he killed himself after getting tortured to keep the secret for Booth that he killed a warlord and someone is hunting them for revenge. This episode's case revolves around an old woman which was tortured just the same way with another person, Mike, in grave danger. Booth thinks the killer tortured her to avenge against Mike and get information from him. Mike is later on found dead. Booth is a serious risk, he found out the warlord's son upon finding a photo of a man named, Mark. Mark and Booth talked to each other; Mark revealed he was adopted when he was six and he does not remember who his real father is.

"Bones" is not what it is if there is no catch - Booth and Aubrey think Mark is lying but they need more proof. Things get stranger when Mark wanted to see Booth, saying someone is framing him up as bodies were found on Mark's wife's real estate listings. Mark explained his side but Caroline told Booth a shooting at the safe house occurred, where Brennan's dad and his kids were. They rushed there and found out that the kids were fine. Brennan's father got shot, Booth started to investigate how the safe house got infiltrated. The team figured out that Brennan's dad's pacemaker has a GPS!
