‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ News: Extended Look At Game’s New Weapons & Skills [VIDEO]
Pia MerciBioware's highly-awaited "Mass Effect: Andromeda" new video is said to go live on February 17, 2017. The video will offer its players an "extended look" at the game's skills and weapons.
This is going to be the first in a new series of videos that highlight various elements of "Mass Effect: Andromeda." Bioware's announcement was via its official Twitter account with a caption that says it is essential for players to get to know their tools to play the game successfully. It comes with a teaser video, as well.
Meanwhile, Bioware just recently stressed that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is more of an "exploration-based game," rather than an open-world in structure. As relayed by GamesRadar, the game's producer Michael Gamble said that it still consists of a tight story deliverance kind of concept following other things expected to come with "Mass Effect." It appears that it will be following the footsteps of the past "Mass Effect" games in terms of structure.
Additionally, Bioware said that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will have "meaningful" side quests that resemble those that from CD Projekt Red's "The Witcher" series. With what they have done and learned from "Inquisition," they will approach the completionist aspect much differently.
"Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be launched on March 21 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. In other news, a new trailer released this month showed off more multiplayer footage. What's more, BioWare has verified that there is will be no crossplay support and the PC version will have an uncapped frame rate.
The game begins within the Milky Way Galaxy being set on the 22nd century, where humanity is planning to populate new home worlds in the Andromeda Galaxy. Players will take the role of either Scott Ryder or Sara, an inexperienced military recruit who will be joining the Initiative and will eventually wake up in Andromeda after a 600-year journey.
