A recently surfaced mod has added the Lion King to "GTA 5," giving Rockstar Games' hit action-adventure video game an interesting twist.

"GTA 5" Los Santos let players do just about anything. In addition to playing golf, tennis and jet skiing, players have access to a wide array of awe-inspiring activities such as cruising around as the Incredible Hulk. But that's not all; players can even delve into the high sky as a fire-breathing dragon, reducing everything in its way to ashes. Adding more excitement to the game, the new mod allows players to walk along the hills of Mount Chiliad as Simba, The Lion King himself.

The Lion King Pack for "GTA 5" comes from MrMarco1003. The said pack brings in a slew of characters from Disney's 1994 film, including Rafiki, Mufasa, Scar, Nala, Kiara, Banzai, Shenzi, Ed, Pumbaa, Timon and of course, Simba -- in adult as well as junior form, according to PC Gamer.

"GTA" fans must bear in mind that the Lion King pack cannot function without the AddonPeds script mod, and also that as adult Simba, Scar and Mufasa oust the deer in-game, players must use one at a time. The modder clarified that the character models have been inspired from "Kingdom Hearts 2," meaning, the "GTA 5" The Lion King pack might not be up for grabs for a long time.

However, the mod is not spared from flaws. The extend of wildlife available in "GTA 5" is a bit restricted with three models including Adult Simba, Mufasa and Scar assigned to the deer PED. As a result, they cannot be used all at once, GTA 5 Cheats reported.

In other words, players will not be able to engage in the final fight between Simba and Scar in "GTA 5," or even recreate the 'long live the king' scene or any other noteworthy moment from the animated film.
