'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Features Update: Lead Designer Ian Frazier Confirms Difficulty Modes, Customization of Armor and Outfit Colors

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" will officially hit store shelves on its March 21 release date and more exciting details regarding its gameplay features have surfaced online prior to launch. The latest news came from game lead designer himself Ian Frazier, who recently talked about customization options for the characters as well as armor in the space shooter title.

Frazier has recently confirmed that in "Mass Effect: Andromeda", gamers can choose their preferred armor color and same is true for characters' regular costumes. Via Twitter, he responded positively to a fan who asked whether the armor colors customization will in fact return in the new saga of the ME universe.

He teased a bit more in his response and mentioned the casual clothing for Ryder will get similar level of color customization options, too.

This feature is notedly not new to the franchise. Way back in the predecessor titles with Shepard as the game protagonist, gamers can change the armor sets worn by the major characters. For example, they can choose hot pink next after going for midnight blue and according to Game Rant, this has served as a classic feature to retun in "Mass Effect: Andromeda".

Earlier last week, Frazier, also confirmed the difficulty modes found in ME 4. These include Narrative, Casual, Normal, Hardcore, Insanity, Battletoads but added that one of those is not true. Players note further that these difficulty modes will be available at the start.  

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" has been announced to be in development by game developer BioWare for a number of years and shown at E3 2015. After a delay in release, it will now arrive on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC this coming March 21.
