Watsuki has not revealed new details about the "Hokkaido Arc" yet but as per a report by Crunchyroll, the series will still see old "Rurouni Kenshin" characters but there will be a new enemy. Though nothing has been said about the new criminal, the plot will reportedly take place in Hokkaido as suggested by the title.
"Rurouni Kenshin" manga is a hit series that has gathered a lot of fans around the world. This could be the reason why it was adopted into a "Rurouni Kenshin" anime TV mini-series that's a total favorite among anime fans. The movie industry didn't let this good material pass too as the story was also turned into a "Rurouni Kenshin" movie, which came in three parts.
Meanwhile, fans of "Rurouni Kenshin" characters might be delighted to know that a mobile game based on the manga will hit Japan this year. Produced by Bandai Namco, the app is called "Rurouni Kenshin: Kengeki Kenran." In addition, it will be available on iOS and Android platforms, Gematsu reported.
Details about the new app is scarce at the moment but it is said to fall under an action and weapon type of game. It is a free to play app but there will also be options for in-app purchases.
