'2 Broke Girls' Season 6 Episode 17 Preview: Caroline Tries and Fails to Impress Bobby's Family
S. TurlaPoor Caroline Channing (Beth Behrs) can't seem to compete with Bobby's ex-girlfriend, who his family seems to like more than her. In "2 Broke Girls" Season 6 episode 17, titled "And the Jessica Shmessica," the diner gang also tags along for dinner with Bobby's family.
The official synopsis for "And the Jessica Shmessica," episode 17 of "2 Broke Girls" Season 6, reads, "When Bobby (Christopher Gorham) invites Caroline to a party to meet his family, she is eager to make a good impression but isn't prepared for the torch that his mother and sisters still carry for Bobby's ex-girlfriend. Also, Caroline's nerves are even more frayed when the diner gang decides to tag along, on 2 BROKE GIRLS, Monday, Feb. 20 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Guest stars include Nora Dunn as Bobby's mother, Teresa, and Kerri Kenney-Silver as his sister, Denise," per Spoiler TV.
So many things can go wrong for Caroline, but the fact that Bobby's own family is still not over his ex (presumably named Jessica as the title implies) does not help our hapless waitress. Still, Caroline is determined to make them like her for the sake of her boyfriend, but the diner gang joining them for a family dinner could make things even worse for her.
Sophie could do something embarrassing, or Max could say something too sarcastic or too mean for Bobby's family. Either way, Caroline has her hands full with making everyone behave and making sure that she makes a good impression on Bobby's mom and sister.
Meanwhile, in the sixteenth episode of "2 Broke Girls," Caroline took some burlesque dance lessons to "spice things up" for her third date with Bobby. Of course, Max is forced to go, even though she has sworn off of sex after she has broken up with Randy. Because of her broken heart, Max even decides to start a new hobby with Han, her favorite person to tease. In the previous episode, both Max and Han go golfing, per Recap Guide.
