“The Blacklist” Season 4 finale will air in February 23 of this year. Reports have it that the crime thriller series is set to have a two-hour show as a way to launch its spinoff series. This two-hour show will also include the first episode of its season 15 entitled, “The Apothecary.” Some time later, the spinoff series, “The Blacklist Redemption” is set to be released.

For those who are not yet updated with the series. It is better not to continue reading beyond this point of the article as spoilers are underway.

In "The Blacklist" Season 4 Finale, Red might finally die by way of poisoning. As to the identity of the person who poisons him, and the intention behind it remains a mystery. What is certain is that Red, like the show’s fans, will be bent on finding the answer to these questions.

"The Blacklist" Season 4 Finale promises a lot of exciting things! Elizabeth Keen (played by Megan Boone) rushes to find clues regarding the identity of the person who administers the poison. In order to do this, she engages the assistance of the Post Office Task Force team which includes Aram Mojtabai (played by Amir Arison), Donald Ressler (played by Diego Klattenhoff), and Samar Navabi (Moshan Marno) in search for the designer of the toxin, and whether or not there is a cure for it.

It will be recalled that the fourth season of the series premiered on September 22 of last year. Since then, the show suffered a steep decline in its ratings and has been struggling to recover from it. This decline threatens the very survival of the series and should it fail to redeem itself in the future, a cancellation would be a foregone conclusion. Still, "The Blacklist" Season 4 Finale will be followed immediately by "The Blacklist Redemption" - a good indication of the success of the show.

The decline in its demographic of viewers, especially those belonging to ages 18 to 49, is truly alarming. But loyal fans of the show remain optimistic despite the threat of cancellation. Watch the preview of the "The Blacklist" Season 4 Finale and the premiere of "The Blacklist Redemption" here:
