'Final Fantasy VII' Remake Latest Update: New Screen Shots Reveal More About The Game
JP"Final Fantasy VII Remake" updates and details have been slowly piling up lately. Just recently, Square Enix has released new screenshots of the upcoming PlayStation 4 RPG.
Aside from the occasional teasers here and there, Square Enix has been relatively quiet about the development of the "Final Fantasy VII Remake." Even during the "Final Fantasy" 30th-anniversary celebration in Tokyo, the video game company did not release substantial information about the video game.
In fact, the only "Final Fantasy VII Remake" related information shown during the Tokyo event was a new key art. The "FFVII Remake" key art presented during the hit RPG's 30th anniversary featured Cloud Strife and Sephiroth.
Just recently, new "Final Fantasy VII" screenshots were released during the Magic Monaco 2017. Judging by the recently released screenshots alone, it certainly looks like the upcoming "Final Fantasy VII Remake" PS4 game will be visually appealing.

The first screenshot shown during Magic Monaco 2017 features the game's main protagonist, Cloud Strife, hiding behind a crate. The second "FF7 Remake" screenshot featured the God Scorpion boss fight.
What is noticeable in the God Scorpion screenshot is that the developers successfully retained how the boss looks like in the original game and simply added some changes to make it more visually appealing. Also, the HUD elements displayed in the second screenshot suggests that there will still be an element of strategy in the "Final Fantasy VII Remake" gameplay.
Aside from the two new "FF7 Remake" screenshots, no other information about the not yet released Square Enix PS4 game has been released. The video game developer is yet to announce a "Final Fantasy VII Remake" release date.
It is important to note that this year also marks the 20th year of the original "Final Fantasy VII." There are speculations that the first part of the "Final Fantasy VII Remake" will be released this year to commemorate the hit RPG's 20th year anniversary.
