While Pokemon trainers are leaving no stone unturned in their bid to "catch 'em all," Niantic Labs has added 80 new Pokemon in the mix.

Following in the footstep of the previously added 150 Pokemon, the newfangled group of creatures diverges from common to rare -- to outright impossible-to-find. One of these is Unown, which is basically a rare monster that comes in several versions, 26, to be exact -- one for each letter of the alphabet.

But much to the dismay of "Pokemon Go" players, not too many of these rare monsters have been spotted in the game until now. A Redditor known as luke4ario echoed the same problem in one of his threads earlier this week. Some Reddit users are hoping that the game developer might announce an Unown event. However, that hasn't come to fruition yet.

This is, without an iota of doubt, quite frustrating, especially to those who are bent on getting hold of all "Pokemon Go's" medals. Acquiring the ultimate Unown achievement requires trainers to capture each specific version of Unown -- a task, which is nothing short of backbreaking.

This is quite similar to trying to catch it in "Pokemon Gold And Silver," where trainers were required to take multiple trips to a slew of ruins to ferret out all 26 variants, but don't lose hope just yet. A few trainers have reportedly bumped into individual Unown letters, with some Redditors reporting that they were able to catch a glimpse of the coveted Pokemon.

Singapore-based trainers have reportedly captured at least a couple of Unown, while US-based Redditor known as MissingNebula claims to have captured one, in Wisconsin. This also implies that Unown is not exclusive to a specific region like other hard-to-find monsters.

There's no word regarding where exactly trainers can encounter all the different letters. Nevertheless, it looks like trainers will have to check out every possibility for capturing Unown in "Pokemon Go" as tips are hard to come by as well.

It can be recalled that it took quite a long time for trainers to catch Ditto, a Pokemon that did not even make an appearance until the fall. That being said, trainers might have to continue waiting with bated breath until all 26 letters of the Unown are found.

Watch this space for "Pokemon Go" tips and tricks and guides to capturing some rare Pokemon, including Unown and all its variants.
