LG Conducted A Survey That Says 95 Percent Of Users Prefer Smartphones With Large Screens And Longer Battery Life
Cris Xander JulianoLG conducted a survey to find out what users want with their smartphone devices and 95 percent of them say that they prefer devices with large screens, waterproof and longer battery life according to wcctech.
The survey was conducted between Jan. 23 and Jan. 30, 2017 among 2,074 Americans ages 18 and above, using e-mail invitations and online surveys.
While most people would agree that a larger display on a smartphone has its own benefits such as bigger screens for watching videos and playing games, an added benefit of having the same is that manufacturers are able to pack in a larger battery if the display itself is big, thus giving it more battery life compared to the smaller ones.
However, large displays have its own drawbacks, as it removes the ability to use the smartphone one-handed, unless the user has big hands as well. This may mean that LG's next flagship device, the G6, might have been tweaked in a way that users are able to operate the device one-handed or two-handed.
The G6's metal build is said to be highly durable and is going to be the first device from the company's lineup to provide wireless charging support.
The next flagship by LG is IP68 certified, which means it will feature a non-removable battery since the same will be sealed. Moreover, the G6 is powered by a Snapdragon 821 chipset.
What do you think of the survey? Do you prefer a larger screen? Write and share your thoughts on the comments section down below, and don't forget to like, share and subscribe.
