‘Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3’ News: Beta Sign-Ups To Test ‘Dawn Of War 3’ Before Release Date Announced [VIDEO]
Rei LantionThe "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3" release date is slated for this year, but both Relic and SEGA remain tight-lipped on the specifics. A slight lack of updates has had fans worried for a possible delay to 2018 or later, but Relic's recent announcement has pretty much confirmed the game is on track for 2017. It looks like beta sign-ups for "Dawn of War 3" are now open. Anyone over the age of 19 can apply.
Beta Test 'Dawn of War 3'
According to PC Invasion, Relic has started taking in details for the upcoming "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3." You can head over to the sign-up link if you're interested. Of course, any fan would jump at the chance to beta test one of the most highly-anticipated games of 2017, but bear in mind that fronting won't give you any advantages. Relic requires "honest answers," PC Invasion reports, and they're looking for a "range of ability and gaming experience levels."
The Beta Recruitment Survey specifically requires that a player be 19 years of age or older in order to participate. This is due to the "mature nature" of their games, and also so that hopeful participants may legally sign --- and adhere to --- a full non-disclosure agreement. In case you aren't selected, you also have the option of letting Relic keep your information on file to contact "for future playtest/beta opportunities."
'Dawn of War 3' Release Date
Nothing narrower than 2017 has been given for the "Dawn of War 3" release date. SEGA might want to avoid the August-November period, PC Games N notes, seeing as a lot of other anticipated games and sequels are coming out by the last quarter. They posit a summer release, but that has yet to be confirmed. Kotaku, on the other hand, has captured a screenshot from SEGA's website naming April 30, 2017 as the release date. Checking the SEGA website now, however, will list TBC beneath "Dawn of War 3."
It's likely the date was simply a placeholder, but April does line up with PC Games N summer release prediction. Again, without confirmation from Relic or SEGA, everything's purely guesswork at this point. Regardless, "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3" is coming this 2017 and is playable on Microsoft Windows platform.
