Bandai Namco's "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" has been made free to play this weekend courtesy of Microsoft for all Xbox One owners. The free to play promo starts March 3 until 11:59 PM PT on March 5 for Xbox Live Gold members and can play the entire game totally free.

On top of it, all progress of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" including save files and Achievements will be saved to their accounts so they can still pick up where they have left off in the event that they decide to purchase the game. According to Xbox Wire, the game is being described as the ultimate gaming experience of "Dragon Ball" where players can create their own avatars, discover skills and fight against the famous anime characters.

According to GameSpot, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" standard edition is marked down to $36 and the game's deluxe edition is $67.50 instead of the regular $90 price and this is good at least until March 7. The free trial version is available in the Gold Member part of the dashboard or straight from the game's Xbox Store page.

Players can start their "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" odyssey by developing their own fighter and they can also customize their Time Patroller with lots of different accessories, which they can unlock throughout their adventure. They can also train new skills with different types of masters that are inspired by the "Dragon Ball" saga and fight against new opponents and once they are done with the story mode, they can also check out the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" Season Pass extending the game with new playable characters, more masters, new quests, accessories, costumes and skills.

It can be recalled that Microsoft also made "Rocket League" and "NBA 2K17" free to play last month for a weekend. Moreover, apart from "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," "World War I" and "Battlefield 1" are also free to play this weekend.
