Looks like the long wait is finally over as Xiaomi is set to launch its long-awaited Redmi Note 4 smartphone in Malaysia with pre-orders for the Redmi Note 4 kicking off Friday, March 10.
The Chinese handset maker's next flagship device in its low-end Redmi smartphone line will be available in the online Mi Store @ Lazada and retail outlets across the nation. Actual sale is slated to begin on March 16.
This comes nearly eight months after the smartphone debuted in Xiaomi's home market, China. In the bid to make their devices widely available, the company is now resorting not only to online but also on retail channels countrywide. With this, Xiaomi breaks the long-reigning trend of online-only sale on its official website, according to TheStar.
Xiaomi newfangled Redmi device packs a powerful Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 14nm FinFET tech + a robust 4100 mAh battery, geared with optimization that facilitates 25% longer battery life compared to its predecessor.
Aside from that, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will come with a considerable improvement on the photography front, sporting a 13MP BSI CMOS camera equipped with PDAF along with an array of other jaw-dropping features, according to a post on Mi Malaysia Facebook page.
