A recent leak about Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus claims to have information to be revealed on March 29 Samsung event. It disclosed the specs, features, and prices among others of the flagship device.

Leaked Samsung Galaxy S8 Information

The most recent leak came from the notable tipster Evan Blass who claimed to have the press shot of the Samsung Galaxy S8. The leaked images contained the color variants of the upcoming device, which are in Black Sky, Orchid Grey, and Arctic Silver. The recent information repeats the same information about large dual edge display and home button getting dropped.

In addition, there are volume buttons, and a dedicated Bixby button visible in the image leaked. They are seen on the left edge while the power button is located on the right edge of the device. The Samsung logo is also seen in the center of the device, which failed to show the back portion of the smartphone.

Release Date and Prices

According to Blass, the Samsung Galaxy s8 will be priced at EUR 799 or its equivalent in other regions. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will be available starting at EUR899. He has also revealed other prices of the device's accessories including the Gear VR, which will be offered at EUR129, the new Gear 360 priced at EUR 229.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones are scheduled to an unveiling event at the Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked 2017 on March 29 in New York. The event reportedly will start at 11 AM EDT.

Other Specs and Features

In the previous reports, there were claims that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will sport a 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch Super AMOLED pressure sensitive displays. It will also have a 1440 X 2560 pixels. Both of these devices are heavily speculated to release with Snapdragon 835 SoC, with several markets getting the devices running on Exynos 8895 chips.

Aside from those, the Samsung galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus are expected to run on Android 7.0 Nougat and will have a dual Sim card slots. The front camera of these devices is expected to be an 8MP camera while a 12-MP dual-pixel rear camera is also anticipated.
