Vinay PatelXiaomi's impending smartphones have been subject to all sorts of rumors and leaks. Earlier this week, the Mi 6, and the Mi Max 2's specs were leaked online via GFXBench website.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to hit the store shelves sometime this month but smartphone enthusiasts and tech pundits alike were able to take a gander at the flagship's specifications ahead of the devices' rumored launch, thanks to their recent listing on GFXBench. Accompanying the Mi 6 was Xiaomi's upcoming phablet, the Mi Max 2, which made an appearance on the benchmarking website as well.
Xiaomi Mi 6, Mi 6 Plus Specifications & Features
The GFXBench listing (via Gadgets 360) of the Mi 6 imply the smartphone will come with an unreleased version of the company's own MIUI running atop Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It will sport a 5.1-inch Full-HD display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution.
Under the hood, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 SoC will be firing up the Xiaomi Mi 6. The device will either offer 4GB or 6GB of RAM, paired with 64GB or 128GB of inbuilt storage.
In terms of optics, the Mi 6 is expected to sport a 12MP rear camera capable of 4K video recording and a 7MP front shooter with 4K recording support as well, according to TheIndianExpress. Notably, this does not coincide with previous leaks.
Previously surfaced reports hinted at a QHD 2K OLED display with dual curved edges, a colossal 256GB storage, dual rear camera setup, and a 4000mAh battery. On the photography front, the Mi Max 2 features a 12MP rear camera with a bunch of other features such as dual-LED (dual tone) flash, phase detection autofocus and f/2.0. Other features include Geo-tagging, HDR, panorama, face detection, and touch focus, GSM Arena reported.
