PC gamers, rejoice! Sega's hit third-person action game, "Bayonetta" is finally headed to the long-ignored platform.

More than six years since it was originally launched for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, "Bayonetta" is now up for grabs on Steam. Following years of frenzied fan demands, it looks like Sega has finally decided to answer their prayers by bringing "Bayonetta" to the PC.

"Bayonetta" just arrived on Steam for $19.99 with 4K support and advanced graphics options, looking better than before, but that's not all. In order to lure those who already have the game, Sega will be handing out the Digital Deluxe Edition at no additional cost to gamers who buy the new version. The offer runs until April 25.

This (usually) high-priced edition comprises digital artbook, exclusive wallpapers and avatars and a five-song soundtrack sampler, according to Engadget. "Bayonetta" centers on a dominatrix witch who carries guns in her shoes fighting against angelic gangs. Despite being one of Platinum Games' most popular titles, "Bayonetta" has not been spared from bickering.

Lining with this, Forbes' contributor Erik Kain recently pointed out that the game has been deemed as a sexist affair by critics, who claim Bayonetta was designed specifically for the "male gaze." Nevertheless, fans realize this is ludicrous as "Bayonetta" continues to be one of the strongest female characters in video games realm.

While the idea of playing "Bayonetta" at 4K may not be well received by some fans, it's worth noting that Platinum's previous PC port didn't really impress. When the game developer's latest PS4 action RPG (role playing games), "Nier: Automata" launched on PC soon after that, the inferior desktop version left a lot of players feeling ripped off.

That being said, Platinum would be hoping to yield a better result with "Bayonetta" making an appearance on PC several years after its console launch. Click here visit "Bayonetta" Steam store page.
