Vinay PatelSoon after unveiling the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus, it looks like Lenovo is deviating its focus on the budget segment. The rumor stems from a bunch of recently surfaced leaks surrounding the company's Moto C and Moto E series smartphones.
The latest leak centers on the Moto C and Moto C Plus smartphones, which multiple sources claim are targeted at consumers who are buying a smartphone for the first time. There's also hearsay that they are the series' most economical handsets.
Moto C, Moto C Plus Specifications
Following in the footsteps of Moto G5 and G5 Plus smartphones, both Moto C and Moto C Plus will be running Android 7.0 Nougat. The devices are likely to sport 5-inch displays, with the Moto C Plus expected to boast an HD screen resolution at 720x1280 pixels. The Moto C, on the other hand, is tipped to come with an FWVGA screen resolution at 480x854 pixels, according to Venture Beat's Evan Blass (@evleaks).

As far as storage is concerned, the Moto C Plus could come with a built-in storage of 16GB and the Moto C could pack either an 8GB or 16GB storage based on elements such as cellular modem and region.
All versions of the both the aforesaid handsets; however are likely to feature expandable storage capacity (via microSD card). Moreover, both models should come with decent battery life thanks to a 2350mAh capacity battery in the Moto C and a robust 4000mAh in the C Plus, according to Engadget.
On the photography front, Moto C features a 5MP rear-mounted camera with flash (fixed-focus on 3G model and auto-focus with 4G model), and a 2MP front snapper with flash support for selfies. The Moto C Plus could come bearing identical front-facing camera configuration, but the resolution of the primary image sensor on the smartphone has been increased to 8MP, Gadgets 360 reported.
