Xiaomi Mi6 Latest News: Latest Leaks Reveals Upcoming Device's Audio Jack Missing
Keisuke AkioXiaomi Mi6 is bound to be released this month. However, given the proximity to the release date, a Chinese website revealed the device will not have an audio jack upon release.
Another set of images is making rounds on the Internet recently claiming to be that of Xiaomi Mi6. On Weibo, a Chinese social media site four images refer to the upcoming flagship device. As illustrated, the images depict the base form of the upcoming flagship device. Allegedly, the base model, which be released at a lower price will have a 2.5D curved panel. On the other hand, the higher variant will sport a full curved display. So far, this recent leak somehow validated the previous claims about the upcoming device.
For its other features, Xiaomi Mi6 according to Wccftech will have a ceramic back panel that will house a dual camera setup. The camera allegedly will have a dual tone LED flash. The overall design of the device will be round and will have standard size bezels.
The recent claim of the missing audio jack suggests that the upcoming flagship device will have a USB type C port. At the bottom most part of the device is a couple of speaker grills as shown in the leaked images, says Android Headlines.
The previous speculation revealed that Xiaomi Mi6 will have a 5.15-inch OLED panel with 1920 x 1080 resolution. The device is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 system on the chip. Aside from that, the flagship from is also expected to house the Adreno 540 GPU.
The device reportedly will be available in 4GB or 6Gb of RAM variants. It will also be released in 64GB or 128GB of internal space storage. As to the dual camera setup, allegedly, the sensors will be composed of 12 megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors at the back and 8-megapixel sensor in the front. It will also have an IOS or optical image stabilization. Moreover, the device will also support phase detection autofocus or (PDAF).
There were also several claims that the device will feature the Quick Charge 4.0. It is also speculated to have Android Nougat 7.1.1 for its operating system enhanced with the company's own MIUI9. The Xiaomi Mi6 is expected to be released on April 19.
