How to Record Your Screen on Windows with Movavi Screen Recorder

If you're a beginner, Movavi's screen recording software can be a perfect choice, especially if you are working on Windows OS. It has become hugely popular for having a user-friendly interface and being one of the most intuitive recording cum editing (third-party) programs out there.

Screen recording can be quite the task & most recorders confirm this with their steep learning curve. Movavi Screen Recorder, however, isn't one of them. Developers specifically designed it to make recording computer screen easy. It is a self-explanatory application, meaning that you learn as you unravel. Don't believe us? Try it yourself! They also have a free version, just in case.

●       To record anything on your screen, first, open the audio or video file on the computer.

●       Next, double click to open the screen recorder.

●       Press the recording button (to the mid-right of the screen) right away if you don't need to make any adjustments.

●       You can either drag-select the area of the screen you want to record (with crosshair cursor) or simply press the space key. However, for extra precision, you can also select a custom frame size. Find the option at the top left corner.

●       The recording panel will only appear once you have selected the area for recording.

●       You can record audio from multiple channels on Movavi. To record sound, you can either click the speaker or the microphone icon.

●       It is possible to record video at the same time. The recording panel will show a button for enabling camera or Webcam overlay.

●       Movavi also allows users to capture every keystroke. Go to 'Preferences,' click on 'effects' to make changes like cursor highlights or to activate cursor recording.

●       When you are ready after the adjustments, clicking the control panel's REC button will start the recording. The same board has 'stop' and 'pause' options as well.

Recording Android screen on Mobizen Screen Recorder

Creating a screencast on your PC may seem a lot easier than recording your Android phone screen. However, there are apps that can eliminate the complication. Mobizen Screen Recorder is a fine example of that. It is one of the most convenient recorders for your smartphone that comes with an editing feature.

You no longer need a computer to create high-definition video content. With its wide range of easy-to-use tools, this app allows you to achieve that from your mobile device. Once you have installed and set up the Mobizen app on your Android device, you can record your screen with the following steps:

●       Tap the "record screen" option to open the Mobizen widget to the edge of the screen.

●       Clicking the widget will open the floating Aircircle (controls). It will show 3 main options on your screen- Camcorder (for screen recording), camera (for screenshot) and a Settings icon.

●       To start recording, click on the video record button. The application takes a few seconds to begin recording. A light beam revolving around the widget means the recording is on.

●       Press the Pause button, if required.

●       Visit the settings menu to set your preferred resolution, frame rate and add audio. In the app, you can configure the resolution up to 1080p and up to 60fps frame rate.

●       The front camera of your mobile remains deactivated on the recording app as a default setting. If you want to add video overlapping to the recording, it can be enabled.

●       After you finish recording, a pop-up appears. Click on the "view video" option to check if you've got what you wanted. If you wish to view the recorded file later, you can navigate the Aircircle's menu button to reach the video list.

●       While viewing, notice a pen-and-paper icon. Click that to edit your video. Trim, Split, Extract, and sound editing are only the essential editing tools.

How to record your iPhone screen

Installing a supplementary app to record your iPhone screen activity is not necessary. You can do that directly on your iOS device. Apple has included a hidden in-built recording feature to capture your iPhone display. The iPhone screen recording feature is easy to access once you open the Settings app. Select the 'control center' option, and you will find the screen recording menu under 'More Controls.'

●       Click the plus sign beside the recording menu to the 'include controls' section from the 'more controls' section.

●       Return to your home screen. The above is necessary since other apps block the screen recording function.

●       Now, to start recording, first, open the website or screen that you want to record.

●       If you're using iPhone X or a later version, you can scroll down from the top-right corner for Quick Controls. Users of iPhone 8 or earlier versions can swipe up to access the control menu.

●       Activate the "Do not Disturb" mode to avoid interruptions from notifications or calls while your recording is on.

●       Hit the screen record icon on the control panel to start recording. Your recording begins after the 3-second timer is out.

●       The recording app allows you to record audio and video, but you can record external sounds (not generated from your mobile) only if you turn on your mic.

●       Long pressing the screen record button will give you a pop-up screen. Here, you can activate your microphone. If you don't want external audio in your next video, don't forget to turn off the mic with the same process.

●       Tap anywhere to exit the control center. Swipe down or up to re-access it.

●       The button to start and stop recording are the same.

Figuring out how an app works is not always that difficult. However, you're probably using a screen recording tool to save time and yet, communicate effectively. Following our detailed instructions for each software can cut down on your learning curve. Hope it helps!
