HyperOS Update Plan Revealed for 117 Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco Devices
Austin JayThe HyperOS update is coming to over a hundred Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco phones. It was first shown on the new Xiaomi 14 phones. They tested HyperOS a lot in China and other places.
The report shows 117 devices that will get it in the next few months. This proves Xiaomi wants most of its devices to use HyperOS0.
They have an extensive selection of phones, so this is good news for many buyers. The software was shown off when the new Xiaomi phone 14 came out. They tried it out with people in different countries to see how it worked there.
The list tells us exactly which phones from Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco will get the update before Christmas. Since Xiaomi makes many phones, the update will be on more than just their newest phones.
A recent report discusses Xiaomi's big plans for their HyperOS update on many phones from Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco brands. This update would happen in December 2023 and affect over seventeen devices.
It wants to bring the HyperOS software to all these models.
The HyperOS was first shown with the Xiaomi 14 phones and has been tested by users in China and other countries.
A long list includes Xiaomi 13T, 12S, 11T, 10S and others.
Redmi K40 phones and Redmi Note 10 and Note 11 series will also get it.
Poco F3, Poco X4 Pro 5G, and Poco M5 are on the list.
The number of phones Xiaomi will update is extensive and shows how they want most users to have this new HyperOS, providing improved features and functions across many of their products.
The leaks hinted that most of the adjustments in HyperOS when compared to MIUI, revolved around visual modifications. The reports, like a HyperOS changelog from Xiaomiui, focused on changing the look of the Android 14 overlay on new phones.
However, the official Chinese page unveiled a complete HyperOS featuring improved networks, better memory control, and AI integration, promising users an extensive overhaul beyond visual changes.
Xiaomi's recent release of the finished HyperOS 1.0, built on the Android 14 platform, marks a big step in software innovation, bringing new features and improvements.
While the first version just went to five specific Xiaomi models in China, the worldwide spread of HyperOS is meant for mid-2024, focusing first on the newest high-end devices.
However, getting HyperOS won't be the same across all Xiaomi tech.
Xiaomi chose to do it step-by-step, depending on Android versions. Some devices will get the Android 14-based HyperOS, while others will stay with the Android 13 version.
This planned split happens because some HyperOS things need advanced abilities inside Android 14, leading to the selective update process across Xiaomi's device system. This splitting shows Xiaomi's plan to adjust and customize the HyperOS experience and the differing software powers across its many types of smartphones.
