In an accidental reveal of the upcoming Community Days, "Pokemon GO" disclosed details for January's event.

Niantic confirmed Rowlett as the focal point on Saturday, January 6, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time. Players can anticipate increased odds of encountering a Shiny version during this period.

Post-event, Dartrix will feature in four-star Raids from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., followed by a 30-minute Rowlet swarm around Gyms for victorious players.

Shiny variants will appear as frequently as during the Community Day hours. An image showcasing the Shiny Rowlet in Scarlet and Violet has been available for those unfamiliar with the unique variant.

Featured Attacked and Some of the Community Day Bonuses

Rowlet Community Day brings exclusive benefits to "Pokemon GO" players, including featured attacks and bonuses.

Evolving Dartrix during this event rewards Decidueye with the powerful Frenzy Plant attack, boasting 100 power in Trainer battles, Raids, and Gyms.

Additionally, Decidueye gains access to Spirit Shackle, a new Charged Attack with a 50 power rating in Trainer battles (70 in Gyms and Raids) and a chance to reduce the opponent's defense.

During the event, catches yield triple Stardust and double Candy, with higher-level players having an increased chance of acquiring Candy XL. Lure Modules and Stardust effects extend to three hours, while trade-related perks offer reduced Stardust requirements and an extra Special Trade opportunity.

New Rowlet Stickers are obtainable via gifts, PokeStops, or in-game purchases, and a $1 Special Research Story is available for sale, exclusively accessible through direct payment rather than Poke Coins.

According to another source, event bonuses include 3x Stardust, 2x Candy for catches, and an extra Special Trade opportunity.

Players can snap Smeargle photos and gain additional rewards from PokeStop Showcases.

While only Rowlet and its evolutions are featured, event bonuses promise valuable items. Obtaining a shiny Rowlet holds increased value for future trades.

Season 13 will run till March 1, with more Community Day event news expected after the Rowlet event. The 2024 Pokemon World Championships await in the upcoming year, offering plenty of events for new and returning players.
