New CAD-based renders for the incoming Google Pixel 9 have emerged, revealing its new design. Unlike the predecessor of Pixel 8, this new pixel version is revamped with a notable improvement in terms of three rear cameras, including a periscope zoom lens similar to the Pro model can be counted.

The renders depict a very clean design of the device, with the camera module laid out horizontally at its back. Although the whole outlook of this device's inner specifications and features is still unclear, initial photographs reveal significant improvements in camera settings for the standard Pixel 9 model.

The recent CAD-based renders of the Google Pixel 9 showcase notable design changes, signaling a departure from its predecessor, the Pixel 8. The Pixel 9 ditches the curved frame of its predecessor, heeding the 'flat sides' as made famous by Apple. Unlike the design of Pixel 8, this time, the back camera island is oval-shaped and placed within the border frame, which it used to protrude before.

This shift in design contributes to a recognizable yet updated Pixel look. The front of the phone displays a flat frame, revealing symmetrical screen bezels.

At the screen's top middle section, a single hole-punch cutout accommodates the selfie camera. Reports indicate that the Pixel 9 will be more prominent - about 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5 mm in dimensions; a little broader and longer but thinner than its precursor.

Gossip hints at a display around 6.1 inches in size for this gadget; more insight on this topic may surface as we inch closer to its unveiling, slated roughly eight months from now.

In line with past Pixel launches, watch out for additional updates and juicy tidbits in the upcoming months.

Pixel 9 Pro's Design Prowess

The power button and volume rocker are positioned on the right side, maintaining continuity in design. A notable shift is observed in the placement of the SIM card, now located at the bottom, alongside the USB-C port. While specific technical specifications remain undisclosed, it's anticipated that the Pixel 9 Pro will be released in the fall, following Google's usual annual release schedule.

With new devices that include advanced AI elements, such as the Samsung Galaxy S24 announced, a unique redesign can be vital to impact consumers and get visible bottom-line results, especially considering that Apple is set to release the iPhone 16 in autumn.

In the months of its official release, some additional leaks and details surrounding Pixel 9 Pro's features and capabilities will emerge.

It is expected to take a very long time for the Google Pixel 9 series to reach the market shelves. Based on this release cycle, if the Pixel 8 series was released in October of 2023, it is estimated that launching a new version will require three quarters to occur three months later during the next fiscal year. This long waiting period implies that prospective buyers must be very patient before they can get the Pixel 9 for purchase.

Additional details and knowledge about the potential features of Google's upcoming flagship smartphone will be released in the run-up to its official launch, allowing enthusiasts to understand better what they should expect from the Pixel 9 series where fans wait for this gadget with bated breath.
