With Thanksgiving around the corner, consumers in the U.S. are inundated with several good bargains and deals. Per reports, e-retailer Amazon is now offering the Samsung Galaxy S3 4G for just $49.99 with a two-year contract on Sprint
"For a limited time, get a great deal on best selling Sprint devices like the Samsung Galaxy S III and HTC EVO 4G," states Amazon.
The Galaxy S3 is one of the best-selling smartphones available in the market and recently crossed the 30 million units sold milestone, which is quite an achievement considering the device was released only in May this year.
Amazon will be offering the Galaxy S3 4G in either Marble White or Pebble Blue on a two-year contract with Sprint, that will start immediately. The deal, however, is only for new Sprint customers and not existing ones. Existing subscribers who are willing to upgrade may have to shell out an additional $100 to be eligible, as well as extend their agreement by two years.
At just $49.99, the Galaxy S3 4G is undoubtedly a steal. The 4.8-inch smartphone (1280 x 720 pixels resolution) has a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor (North American version), 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.9-megapixel front camera, and 2100mAh battery.
In addition to the Galaxy S3 4G, Amazon is also offering some more discounted deals. The HTC Evo 4G is available for just $19.99 on a two-year contract with Sprint. This price too is only valid for new customers, and if existing ones wish to upgrade the will have to shell out $79.99
Amazon is also offering Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G for as little as one cent on a two-year contract with Sprint. Again, the promotion is valid only for new subscribers and existing customers woll have to pay $49.99.
Since this is a limited time offer, there is no telling how long Amazon would keep the promotion on and offer the smartphones at these prices. Do any of the offers entice you? Would you consider switching to Sprint to avail of any of the deals?
