Good news for ‘Assassin’s Creed 3’ fans worldwide. Per reports, Ubisoft has now revealed the first downloadable content – Hidden Secrets Pack for players on PC and Xbox 360, while PlayStation 3 players will have to wait a day to get the new missions.
The Hidden Secrets DLC Pack adds three extra missions which includes the company’s critically acclaimed naval warfare gameplay. The missions are The Lost Mayan Ruins, The Ghost of War, and A Dangerous Secret.
In addition, players will also receive two single-player costumes – the Captain of the Aquila and the Colonial Assassin, as well as two additional multiplayer characters – the Redcoat and the Sharpshooter. However, Ubisoft has also recommended that while downloading DLC content, not to load the saved game as this may lead to players damaging or corrupting the saved games.
Additionally, Ubisoft has also revealed a new trailer for ‘Assassin's Creed 3: The Tyranny Of King Washington’ DLC which is forthcoming. The new trailer gives a glimpse of the type of situation that this expansion pack will be based around. The trailer mostly deals with the themes of how America would have turned out if George Washington was a tyrant ruler. It shows how the country would end up if its constitution were based on the blood of innocents. As it turns out, it will be up to Connor, the main protagonist of ‘Assassin's Creed 3,’ to stop Washington.
“The Tyranny Of King Washington Trailer introduces an all-new Assassin's Creed III single-player campaign. Explore an alternate reality where George Washington has become a tyrant. Driven insane with unlimited power, he has transformed the young United States into a despotic empire,” the report states. “After witnessing the death of his loved ones in his tribe at King Washington's hands, a hero will rise, calling upon the special abilities locked within his lineage, to seek justice and freedom for the people.”
The latest ‘Assassin’s Creed’ game in the series puts the player in control of Connor Kenway as he travels through the frontier and watch the American Revolution unfold. In addition to the historical period, the game also features the "present day" setting, where protagonist Desmond Miles must try and prevent the 2012 apocalypse, as his story develops and reaches an ending.
