Use Nokia's Wireless Charging Docks With Your New Windows Phone And Android Smartphone

One of the first companies to offer a wireless charging dock was Palm with their Touchstone Charging Dock. It debuted with the release of the Palm Pre and was one of the most elegant ways to charge your smartphone wirelessly. Many smartphones on the market have this ability built inside them and if your phone supports it, here are a few wireless charging docks from Nokia to check out.

All of these docks will work with Windows Phones that support wireless charging like Nokia's Lumia 920, Lumia 810, and HTC's Windows Phone 8X. There are also a few Android smartphones that support wireless charging like the HTC Droid DNA, Google Nexus 4, and the LG Spectrum 2.

Nokia currently offers a few wireless charging docks that work perfectly with these devices.

The JBL Power Up Wireless Charging / Speaker Dock will allow you to wirelessly charge and stream your smartphone's music via Bluetooth. The JBL Power UP sells for around $300.

Nokia's Wireless Charging Plate allows you to just place your smartphone on the plate and your smartphone will automatically begin to wirelessly charge. The Wireless Charging Plate sells for around $50.

Nokia's Wireless Charging Stand allows you to wirelessly charge your smartphone in an easy-to-use upright position. The Wireless Charging Stand sells for around $70.

All of these wireless charging accessories have been confirmed to work with the Windows Phones and Android smartphones mentioned above. Once you begin to wirelessly charge your smartphone, going back to using a cable feels so antiquated. More information about all of these accessories can be found at Nokia's accessory page.
