Wii U fans who are tired of playing the same old titles have some good news heading their way as Nintendo has announced that it will be unveiling new games on Wednesday, Jan. 23.
On Tuesday, Jan. 22, Nintendo UK announced via a post on Twitter that it will be broadcasting a special "Wii U Direct - Nintendo Games" presentation worldwide on Jan. 23.
The Nintendo Direct presentation will be hosted by the company's president Satoru Iwata and will begin at 2PM GMT (AM EST).
"Mr Iwata will reveal new games for #WiiU in a new #NintendoDirectEU at 2pm GMT on 23/01," tweeted Nintendo UK.
Nintendo UK did not let on which specific "new games" it has up its sleeve for the Wii U. However, rumors point to 'Resident Evil: Revelations Unveiled Edition' making an appearance.
Speculation is rife that titles like Super Mario 3D, Zelda U, and Retro's Wii U project may be the "new games" that Iwata will announce for the Wii U, but we'll have to wait and see.
Additionally, the company did not reveal the duration of the live stream.
You can view the live broadcast on the Nintendo Direct Web site.
