A lot have been spoken about the most-awaited Samsung product of the year Galaxy S4 and every rumor about the device has a different twist. It has been highly speculated that the next-generation Galaxy S device will see an official release at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, but the latest reports have it that the device will be unveiled somewhere between April 15 and April 22.
Citing sources close to a major UK retailer, Geeky Gadgets reports that Samsung will not reveal Galaxy S4 at the MWC scheduled for next month. It said the sources are reliable as they had given correct release information in the past about Apple's iPad Mini and iPhone 5.
The April release has been confirmed by yet another news publication PhoneArena that said the device can be expected at some time after the first week of April. The information was based on an internal raffle doc it received from a New Zealand mobile retailer.
According to the raffle, aimed to be a sales incentive, the winners will be given a Samsung Galaxy S4 handset. As the raffle runs until April 8, so it is expected that the device will hit the shelves anytime after that.
Earlier rumors had it that Samsung would unveil its flagship product on March 22 at one of its unpacked events in the U.S. Amid the hype and numerous rumors, there are a few confirmed features about Samsung Galaxy S4. Below are the confirmed details about the smartphone listed out by Sam Mobile:
Code Name: Altius
