Nokia Lumia smartphones are counted among the most popular Windows Phone 8 devices, and the Finnish company is expected to release more Lumia smartphones soon. Latest rumors indicate that a mysterious Lumia device "RM-860" has appeared online on a couple of Web sites.
An unknown Nokia Lumia device has appeared on Occasional Gamer and Nokia Power User. Both the sources claim that the mystery Nokia Lumia device is named RM-860.
"Gamer entries reveal about upcoming Lumia devices many times. Now, a Lumia device with code RM-860 has been listed at 'Occasional Gamer' and the variant is obviously headed to USA as indicated by detail of the entry," reported Nokia Power User.
Furthermore, Nokia Power User added "Not only this, NaviFirm has this entry as Test package in "Quality control" section. Though we obviously don't have further details now."
Rumors of new Nokia Lumia handsets have been floating for a while now. Previous rumors have indicated towards handsets named EOS, Catwalk, and Laser. Speculations also suggest that Nokia may launch a refreshed Lumia 920 with an aluminum body.
Currently, AT&T is the sole carrier of the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820. Verizon carries the Lumia 822, which is the carrier's version of Lumia 820. The question remains if a new top-end Lumia will be Verizon's version of Lumia 920 or if the new Lumia will head to other carriers like Sprint and T-Mobile.
Nokia has already confirmed a press event at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013 on Feb. 25. All eyes will be on the event to see if the company reveals a new line of Nokia Lumia running on Windows Phone 8 platform.
