T-Mobile is looking to attract even more customers to its network by offering its exclusive Nexus 4 for free with a new 2-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate. The Nexus 4 usually retails for $199 with a new 2-year contract in T-Mobile retail stores and online, but T-Mobile is running a limited time, Web-only deal on the Nexus 4 - the carrier is offering the Nexus 4 for free after rebate with a new 2-year contract.
The Nexus 4 features a 4.7-inch WXGA (1280 x 769) True HD screen, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, quad-core 1.5 GHz processor, 16GB internal storage, 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, 1.3-megapixel front camera, Wi-Fi, HSPA+ radio, Bluetooth, NFC and a 2,100 mAh battery. The smartphone also supports wireless charging out of the box.
One of the reasons why Nexus 4 is hugely popular is that when you buy a Nexus device, you're also buying upgradability - when you buy a Nexus device, you're guaranteed to always have the latest and greatest version of Android on your smartphone first. Nexus devices receive updates from Google directly unlike other Android devices for which you have to wait for your smartphone maker and carrier to test and approve an Android update.
Nexus devices are also popular because they ship with a stock Android experience or the way Google intended Android to run. Nexus devices also come with the best specs because they are designed and created by Google to provide the best hardware to run Google's latest version of Android. In other words, you're getting a solid smartphone now and in the future with the Nexus 4.
However, you might want to rush because T-Mobile is only offering this deal through its online store and that too for a limited time.
