Saddle up, ladies and gentlemen, the Samsung Galaxy S4 pre-order page is live on AT&T, and the handset is coming by the end of April. The carrier will be offering the 16GB White Frost or Black Mist variant only in select areas for $199.99 on a two-year contract.
AT&T expects to ship the Galaxy S4 to eager hands by April 30, which means the phone itself could be in your mailbox by May 3. Since AT&T is only having the 16GB version on pre-order, it is likely the 32GB version could also go on pre-order very soon, though it is not sure if that version will ship on the same date as the 16GB Galaxy S4.
Currently, the HTC One will have a two-week head start ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S4, so time will tell if that is enough for HTC to keep Samsung at bay, or if eager Android fans would just simply ignore HTC's offering in favor of Samsung's. Then again, many could very well do the unthinkable and save their money for the Galaxy Note 3, which is expected for an end of 2013 release.

Despite its plastic design and gimmicky features, the Galaxy S4 is no doubt one powerful handset, one that should pave the way for new types of applications and games. HTC has its work cut out in the months to come, if the One stands any chance of having a successful summer.
