No one wants to be in a situation when one has to think about getting a smartphone repaired. However, it is always good to know a device that can be repaired easily when it gets damaged.
Samsung's Galaxy S4 has been creating waves ever since its debut on March 14 and now the latest teardown of the device by iFixit adds one more feather in its cap.
The teardown from iFixit gives 8 out of 10 point to the Galaxy S4 for its reparability with 10 being the easiest reparable device.
The teardown goes too deep into the details of every part of the smartphone and analyzes almost all the parts. The screen of the smartphone becomes the most difficult part to reach for anyone who wants to fix it as you will have to open every part of the phone first to repair the screen and display.
Here is the iFixit verdict for Samsung Galaxy S4:
Samsung Galaxy S4 Repairability Score: 8 out of 10(10 is easiest to repair)
The Galaxy S4 has got the same reparability score like its predecessor (Galaxy S3) and with that it gains an upper hand when compared to other smartphones like HTC One and iPhone 5.
The HTC One is the worst device when it comes to reparability with a score of 1 out of 10. The iPhone 5 from Apple also loses to Galaxy S4 by one point as it gets 7 out of 10.
