For a very small time, the Android updates stopped coming to smartphone and tablets. However, the 'dry days' are over and the Jelly Bean sweetness is once again flowing to the pending devices.
Like we always did, we are here with the Android weekly update once again. So if you missed anything related to the Android 4.1.2 or Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean updates during the week, you can get everything in one go.
The week was not something very happening as far as Android updates are concerned, but three Samsung devices, which were waiting for the Jelly Bean update for a long time, got the update and are now running the Jelly Bean version of the Android OS.
Samsung Galaxy S Advance became the first device in the week to get the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update.
The model version of the firmware was noted as XXLQE for the Samsung Galaxy S Advance GT-I9070. The update can be flashed via Samsung KIES.
The firmware will not support the Galaxy S Advance models with an NFC chip.
Following are the firmware details:

The smartphone update was followed by the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 tablet that got the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update. The update started rolling out from Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Malaysia, but it will soon be available in other countries too.
The users of Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 GT-P6800 were waiting for the update for a long time as some reports back in March suggested that Samsung was facing some problems related to the development of the firmware.
The third and the latest device is neither a tablet nor a smartphone from Samsung. The smart camera from the Korean company, Samsung Galaxy Camera got the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update.
The new build number is GC100UCAMD4 that brings some stability fixes and other enhancements to the camera.
The update is available over the air (OTA) and it can also be updated via Samsung KIES.
