HTC has been making quite a buzz for its Android-powered HTC One smartphone recently, and now it seems that the Taiwanese smartphone maker is getting ready with two more devices to capture more share of the mobile market.
According to new reports, HTC is going to release two more Android-based smartphones. These two smartphones are not going to be something completely new, but they will be under HTC's existing 'One' and 'Butterfly' flagship series.
A Taiwanese technology website Eprice reports that HTC will launch HTC One mini and HTC Butterfly S in mid-July and mid-June respectively.
The HTC One mini has already been seen in many rumors with codename M4 and is being seen as a tough competitor of recently announced Samsung Galaxy S4 mini.
The One mini is rumored to be coming with a 4.3 inch 720 pixel display. The device is said to be powered by a dual-core processor and supported by 2 GB of RAM. The smaller sibling of the HTC One is expected to sport an UltraPixel rear-facing camera and have 16 GB of internal storage.
The HTC One mini is reported to be coming in mid-July and will be running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with a layer of HTC's Sense 5 user interface. The handset is also rumored to be coming with LTE connectivity and Beats Audio.
The HTC Butterfly S, which might debut this month, will be a thicker handset when compared to the HTC One. The battery of the HTC Butterfly S is being seen as the major reason behind the increased thickness. The Butterfly S will have a bigger and more powerful battery than HTC One that comes with a battery of 2300 mAh.
It will have the same 5-inch screen size with 1080 pixel full HD display like the HTC Butterfly, but at the same time, the Butterfly S will have an UltraPixel rear-facing camera instead of the 8 megapixel camera found in the HTC Butterfly.
The most exciting information about the HTC Butterfly S is that the device will come with a microSD card slot unlike the HTC Butterfly and HTC One.
