The new LG G Flex may not be bound for Asia and Europe only, as new information indicates the phone will land on AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile as well.

LG unveiled its G Flex curved display smartphone recently and so far there was not much hope of an imminent U.S. release, if ever. The LG G Flex was thought to be exclusive to Asia and some countries in Europe.

According to new information, however, it seems that LG's curved-display, self-healing G Flex smartphone may be heading to the U.S. after all.

Famous tipster @evleaks has revealed that three major U.S. carriers are set to launch the new LG G Flex.

"LG G Flex confirmed for AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile," tweeted @evleaks, without offering any other details. The tipster did not mention when the smartphone would land in the U.S., nor who exactly "confirmed" this news.

Evleaks generally has a good track record when it comes to outing tech secrets and has proved to be accurate on countless occasions so far. It does not mean, however, that the LG G Flex's U.S. launch is a sure thing.

The LG G Flex is one of the first smartphones to launch with a curved display. Samsung beat LG to the punch and launched its Galaxy Round flexible display smartphone first, but LG's offering has another cool feature. The LG G Flex comes with self-healing powers.

That means that the LG G Flex is able to withstand hundreds of mild scratches, as it automatically heals itself to look like new. It's worth noting, however, that this self-healing ability is for small scratches, not for more extensive or serious damage.

Other than the neat curved display and self-healing abilities, the LG G Flex comes with a 6-inch 720p AMOLED screen, a quad-core Qualcomm 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera and a 3,500 mAh battery. As opposed to Samsung's Galaxy Round, the LG G Flex curves from top to bottom rather than from left to right.

With no official confirmation, pricing or release date available at this point, it is highly recommended that you take this piece of news with a grain of sand. Despite @evleaks' excellent track record, nothing is for certain until LG or one of the purported carrier partners makes an official announcement.
