Amazon now has the AT&T Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet for $100 off its regular pricing, selling the device for just $99.99 on-contract.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 is Nokia's very first phablet, as well as the first phablet running Microsoft's Windows Phone mobile operating system. The device sports a massive 6-inch display and some neat Nokia-exclusive functionality, including the much-touted PureView camera technology.
In the U.S., the new Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet is an exclusive to AT&T. The carrier currently has a $199.99 price tag for the device online and in its retail stores, but Amazon is undercutting AT&T's offer by slashing $100 off the phablet's normal price. The retailer now has the Nokia Lumia 1520 available for $99.99 when signing a new two-year contract with the carrier.
For those unfamiliar with the device, the AT&T Nokia Lumia 1520 comes with some high-end specs and features that take Windows Phone to the next level. The phablet features a 6-inch full HD ClearBlack display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Moreover, the display is readable in the sunlight and is also ultra sensitive, which means that users can even operate it while wearing gloves.
Under the hood, the supersized smartphone packs a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.2GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM. The Lumia 1520 comes with 16GB of internal storage capacity, with a microSD card slot for additional memory of up to 32GB.
Other specs include a high-end 20-megapixel camera with Nokia's PureView technology, Carl Zeiss optics, optical image stabilization (OIS), and enhanced settings and imaging features. The device also supports wireless charging out of the box, provided that you also purchase a compatible wireless charging shell. A 3,400 mAh battery keeps things up and running and should provide a decent battery performance.
Interested buyers can now get the AT&T Nokia Lumia 1520 for $100 off from Amazon when signing a new two-year contract with the carrier. Amazon is offering the phablet in four color choices - yellow, white, black, or red - and is also throwing in free two-day shipping with the order. The retailer does not mention when this offer will expire, but it will likely not be available for long.
