Apple is prepping an upcoming iOS 7 update to fix issues that caused the phone to crash and randomly reboot.

Many iPhone users running Apple's latest iOS 7 have been facing some issues with the software, mainly random reboots and crashes while using the smartphone's features.

Apple is aware of this situation is is preparing to release a new update soon, aiming to fix the issue that causes iOS 7 iPhones to reboot all of a sudden. The update is expected to roll out in the coming weeks.

"We have a fix in an upcoming software update for a bug that can occasionally cause a home screen crash," Apple spokesperson Trudy Muller told Mashable.

Earlier this week, Apple has released its iOS 7.1 Beta 4 software to developers, which is the fourth developer beta and is the most likely candidate for the upcoming update. The build indicates that the upcoming release will come with several bug fixes and tweaks to improve iOS 7.

Apple's latest iOS 7.1 Beta 4 build brings a number of changes to the table, including some neat tweaks to the lock screen slide bar and the slide-to-power-off at the top of the display. Recent reports have also indicated that Siri will get a new voice for the iPad in the UK. The update is further expected to include tweaks and improvements for message scrolling and other features.
