Samsung Galaxy Note 4 specs appear in company UAProf ahead of Sept. 3 launch
Alexandra BurlacuWith just a couple of days to go until the Galaxy Note 4 becomes official, more specs now surface from a User Agent Profile (UAProf) on Samsung's website.
Anticipation is building up ahead of the big Samsung Galaxy Note 4 unveiling on Sept. 3 and more spec details are now available to boost excitement even further. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has leaked on several occasions so far, with various images and spec details trying to paint a picture of what to expect.
The latest leak, however, is more credible because it comes straight from the source. While Samsung didn't officially announce the specs of its Galaxy note 4 just yet, a UAPRof on its website suggests some of the specifications that may be on board the next-generation flagship phablet.
According to the UAProf (via GSM Arena), the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will venture into QHD (2K) territory, boasting a top-notch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. This confirms earlier rumors that the Note 4 would join the elite with a QHD display. The UAProf further indicates that the device will pack a 64-bit processor for the SM-N920T model, which is purportedly the variant with an Exynos 5433 chipset, as opposed to the SM-N910S model that is expected to pack a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset.
Considering that the existing Galaxy Note 3 is already a powerhouse on its own, it makes sense that its successor would boast impressive improvements. Other Galaxy Note 4 purported specs include a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display with the aforementioned QHD resolution, 4GB of RAM (the Galaxy Note 3 already comes with 3GB of RAM, so its successor should top it), a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. Storage options are expected to include 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB configurations, with microSD support for additional memory of up to 128GB.
It remains unclear at this point just when the new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will hit retail and how much it will cost, but more details should become available closer to launch. We'll be covering Samsung's Sept. 3 event and bring you the latest news as soon as they become available, so stay tuned.
