This means that some Samsung Galaxy Note 4 units are shipping early for at least some pre-order customers on T-Mobile, if not all.
The official availability date for the Galaxy Note 4 in the U.S. was slated as Friday, Oct. 17, but it now seems that the phablet is ready to make its debut earler. When checking the status of their order, some T-Mobile customers noticed that their device is listed as shipped, meaning that it's currently in transit and should arrive any minute now.
One of Phone Arena's readers send a screenshot of their order status to the publication, clearly showing the date they placed their pre-order, the shipment date of the device, as well as the device they're trading in.
As you can see in the image above, the customer pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on Sept. 24, and T-Mobile shipped the unit on Oct. 10. The customer traded in a Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone, and got $550 for it.

The handset boasts a 5.7-inch display with a whopping QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, at a pixel density of 515 pixels per inch (ppi). Under the hood, the phablet packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.7GHz, paired with 2GB of RAM.
Other specs include 32GB of internal storage capacity, microSD card support for additional memory of up to 128GB, a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, a 3.7-megapixel front shooter, a fingerprint sensor, and a 3,220 mAh battery to keep things up and running.
