T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 bundles one year of Netflix for free
Alexandra BurlacuThe new Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge on T-Mobile in the U.S. will come with a neat treat, bundling one free year of Netflix.
Samsung formally unveiled its new-generation Galaxy S6 flagship and Galaxy S6 Edge curved-display variant back at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015, stirring plenty of excitement among Galaxy fans and smartphone enthusiasts. The flagship is rapidly approaching its retail release in the U.S., as it's set to go on sale on April 10. All four major carriers in the U.S. are expected to offer the Galaxy S6 on April 11 at the latest, and various exciting deals should surface soon.
To further boost excitement ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S6's retail launch, T-Mobile has now announced that it will offer a full year of Netflix completely free of charge for customers who purchase the smartphone.
Interested customers who want to take advantage of this deal will have to pre-register their interest for the Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge on T-Mobile's website and subsequently purchase one of the smartphones when they go on sale. T-Mobile has not revealed just when it will start accepting pre-orders for the handset, but those who pre-register their interest will receive additional information as soon as it becomes available.
As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy S6 comes with a more premium build compared to its predecessor, sporting a metal frame and a glass back that makes it look and feel more stylish. In terms of specifications, the new flagship features a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, packs a powerful octa-core processor under the hood, 3GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front shooter, among the highlights.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to be one of the hottest devices of this year, and attractive bundles along with the purchase of the smartphone will likely generate even higher demand.
With one free year of Netflix, users will be able to access the extensive streaming library at no cost, which is a pretty sweet deal considering that a one-year Netflix subscription costs more than $100.
Other carriers will likely announce sweet offers of their own soon enough, and we'll keep you up to date as soon as they do. In the meantime, if T-Mobile is your carrier of choice, you can now pre-register your interest for the Galaxy S6 and get one year of Netflix for free.
