Staff ReporterAsus has just released its newest flagship for the tablet series: the 8-inch Asus ZenPad 8.0 was unveiled during the Computex 2015 event.
The new Asus ZenPad 8.0 is one of the products introduced by the hardware company at the event. They launched different products ranging from tablets to their slimmest laptops.
Asus Chairman Jonney Shih headed the presentation of the new devices. The last device they introduced was the premium line of ZenPad tablets. The ZenPads are available in three variants: the ZenPad 7.0, ZenPad 8.0 and Zen Pad S 8.0 that has an added stylus. They also have the ZenPad 10.1 that offers an option for extended keyboard. The ZenPad lines can either come with an LTE or 3G connectivity, depending on the design.

Its 8-inch screen offers a 2,048 x 1,536 screen resolution, which is the same as the iPad Mini 3, sold at $399.95 on eBay. The device is also slim, very portable and weighing just about 10.4 ounces.
Asus is really proud of their new line because of its power. The ZenPad 8.0 has a 32GB storage, almost twice as much as the basic storage of the iPad Mini 3. The memory is also expandable to up to 128GB via its microSD slot, according to ASUS
The ZenPad 8.0 has a 2GB RAM with an Intel Atom Z3530 processor. It comes with the new Android 5.1 Lollipop which is currently rolling out on the Samsung S line.
