Another month, another smartphone; It seems like one smartphone is being introduced to the largest markets in the world, simultaneously every month or so. The latest would be the introduction of two Acer smartphones in India.

The two smartphones which are under the "Liquid" series of Acer are now available exclusively at Flipkart. The two "perfect selfie focused" smartphones are the Acer Liquid Z530 and Acer Liquid Z630s with the former going on sale by midnight and the latter will be available by flash sale on November 12.

Acer Liquid Z530 will be on sale at 6,999 INR while Liquid Z630s will be available at 10,999 INR. The sale of these devices also marks Acer's ticket to the "Make in India" initiative that some of the biggest companies in the industry seem to have adopted, with both phones being manufactured in their Pondicherry facility.

Acer Liquid Z630 features a 5 inch IPS OGS display and measures 144 x 70.3 x 8.9mm. It showcases an 8MP front and rear cameras, with the front camera having a wide angle lens. It is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop and runs on a 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek processor with a 2GB of RAM. It has an internal storage of 16GB with a microSD card slot of up to 32GB and a 2420 mAh battery.

Meanwhile, the Acer Liquid Z630S measures 156.3 x 77.5 x 8.9mm and features a 5.5 inch HD IPS OGS display and comes with Acer's Zero Air Gap screen. Like the Liquid Z630 model it also showcases 8MP front and rear cameras with the front camera also featuring wide angle lens, additionally it can also support 1080p video recordings. It also runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop but is with a Liquid IU on top. It runs on a 1.3Ghz octa-core Mediatek processor with 3GB of RAM. It has a storage capability of 32GB and a 4000 mAh battery.

Both mobile phones are said to have "Float Apps" or key apps that are designed to take only a portion of the phone's display to allow users to see and interact with the screen below. The phones are also pre-installed with AcerExtend, which enables a wireless connection between the handset and a compatible laptop or PC.

During the launching of Acer's smartphone, S.T. Liew of Acer is quoted to have said that at Acer, they are conscious of how the world is getting faster and more demanding. The dependence of the world to technology is growing so Acer wants to be able to make their consumer's life simpler and more enriched; So the Liquid Z530 is created to suit the youth, who wants to remain connected to the world all day, with its "always ready everywhere" capability that enables multi-tasking between work and entertainment. Meanwhile the Liquid Z530S is for those who are more elegant and beauty conscious.
