Huawei Enjoys Nexus 6P Success In India And Launches Limited Edition Gold Variant
Mary Cris BalancioHuawei once again has launched another device variant of its Nexus 6p in India. The special edition variant of Google Nexus comes in gold color. The said limited edition collector's item started going on sale exclusively in Flipkart on Monday. The 64GB-capacity smartphone will be priced at ₹43,999 INR.
Huawei India President Allen Wang has announced that their Nexus 6P smartphone has seen great success with their Indian audience. Considering the said success and the target audience, the company has decided to release their Golden edition of the said device.
The new variant of the Nexus 6P comes with the same features as those earlier released Aluminium, Graphite and Frost versions. It still has the same 5.7-inch Quad HD display with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow at a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa core processor with an Adreno 430 GPU. Its back comes with an integrated Nexus Imprint fingerprint sensor.
It has the same 3GB RAM, but it would only come with an internal storage of 64GB, while its earlier counterparts are available not only in 64GB but in 32GB and 128GB capacities as well. It comes weighing 178 g and has a body dimension of 159.3 x 77.8 x 7.3 mm.
Huawei Nexus 6P also sports a 12.3 megapixel main shooter with dual LED flash that supports 4K recording and captures videos at 240 fps. It has an 8.0 megapixel front shooter, which is the highest resolution that a selfie camera for a Nexus handset has so far. It will be powered by a 3450-mAh battery that can be fast charged at 10 minutes for up to 7 hours of usage.
The device comes with dual front-facing stereo speakers, two microphones in front and one in the rear with a noise cancellation feature. It also has a nano SIM slot and supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi and NFC in terms of connectivity.
