Archos Unveils Four New Smartphones At CES 2016
Mary Cris BalancioDuring the CES at Las Vegas, Archos has unveiled its latest selection of smartphones. There are two new devices for its "Cobalt" series and another two devices for its "Power" series. Both of the series line-ups are all made to offer decent specifications for everyday use while staying affordable at the same time. All of the devices will be running Android 5.1 Lollipop and will have microSD support.
The Archos Cobalt 50 model comes with a 5-inch HD display. It comes with a RAM of 1GB and an internal storage of 8GB. Cobalt 50 also features an MT6535P ARM processor. It also sports an 8-megapixel rear shooter and is currently priced at $99 USD.
The other latest addition to the Cobalt line-up is Archos Cobalt 55. It features a slightly bigger HD display, which is 5.5 inches. It also has 2GB RAM and an internal storage space of 16GB. It sports a 13-megapixel rear shooter and is powered up by a 2,700mAh battery. It costs $139 USD. Both Cobalt models are set to be officially launched in April and will be coming with expandable internal microSB card storage.
Meanwhile, for the Power line-up, there are the 40 and the 50 Power models. The 40 Power model features a 4-inch WVGA display and will be having a SC7731C processor. It has a 512MB RAM and an internal storage of 8GB. It sports a 5-megapixel rear shooter and is powered by a 1,900mAh battery. It will be sold at $49 USD.
On the other hand, 50 Power will be having an MTK6735 quad-core processor, a 2GB RAM and an internal storage of 16GB. It comes with 4G LTE technology and will be powered by a 4,000mAh battery. It will be sold at $119 USD. Both power models are set to be officially launched in May.
