Lenovo Unveils New Turbo Version Of A7000 Phone
Mary Cris BalancioLenovo has just announced that it will be having a "turbo" version of its earlier launched Lenovo A7000 smartphone, which has been made available in India since last year. The Lenovo A7000 Turbo promises an improved display resolution, a camera and also crucial hardware upgrades.
Currently, Lenovo A7000 Turbo will be coming out with the same 5.5-inch full HD display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and a 401 ppi density. It will be running Android 5.0 Lollipop with a Vibe 2.0 user interface platform. The turbo version also runs on a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor.
The latest smartphone from Lenovo also has an internal storage of 16GB, which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card and has a RAM of 2GB. Lenovo A7000 Turbo also sports a 13-megapixel main rear shooter and a 5-megapixel secondary front shooter.
It supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth, microUSB and 3G in terms of connectivity. Lenovo A7000 Turbo will also have a dual SIM support. The phone from the Chinese tech company also includes sensors such as compass/magnetometer, proximity sensors, ambient light sensors, accelerometer and gyroscope.
The smartphone will be powered by a 2,900mAh battery, which is said to have up to 39 hours of talk time on 2G and 16 hours on 3G. It will also have a standby time of up to 11 days. The device is said to be only available in one color variant, which is solitary Matte Black.
The new handheld device from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is currently priced at ₹10,999 INR. The company has made a deal with Amazon India to market and sell the latest device within the country. Lenovo also chose to sell its latest smartphone the flash sales style, and users will be able to buy the smartphone starting next Tuesday. So far, preregistration details have not been provided on Amazon yet.
