This week, we learned that Apple had just release the first beta fix for their iOS 9 for public beta testers. The iOS 9.3 beta comes just a few days of seeding it to developers. It is now available to beta testers together with the iOS 9.2.1 minor update that is also on the testing board.
Those who have signed up for Apple's beta testing program will be receiving the iOS 9.3 update over the air after installing all the necessary certificates on their iOS device. Those who want to sign up for the Apple beta testing program can do so by going to Apple's beta testing website which gives users access to both the iOS and OS X betas.
The new iOS 9.3 fix is said to be a major update of the iOS 9 OS. The fix is supposedly bringing in a long list of new features and improvements, one of the biggest features of which is the so called "Night Shift mode."
The Night Shift mode is designed to automatically cut down on the amount of blue light that an iOS user is exposed to at night. This is done by shifting more yellow tones for the iPhone and/or iPad's display screen. The iOS 9.3 fix is also said to come with a couple of changes that will benefit educational users. Reports also say that now, the iPhone will now be able to air up with multiple Apple Watches.
Aside from what is already mentioned, it is said that the iOS 9.3 update will also include new 3D Touch Quick Actions for apps like Settings, Weather, Compass, Health, App Store, and iTunes Store. There is also a new password protection for individual notes entered into the Notes App. In-line video playback, landscape mode in iPhone and more personalization is also added to the News in iOS 9.3.
A new Apple watch style "Activity" interface for the Health app will also be introduced in the new iOS which is confirmed to be launching soon sometime this spring.
