Update 1: Sony canceled the reveal of "Red Dead Redemption 2" at the last minutes due to the recent Orlando attack. Rockstar and publisher Take-Two were planning to show off the much-awaited video game, however, Sony thought it would be distasteful to show the game after the unfortunate event, according to an industry insider.
Sony's Adam Boyes, however, has dispelled rumors that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be at E3 2016. Boyes said on Twitter, "no, this is not true. The length and content we showed has been locked and unchanged for months."

Rumors and speculations about the possibility of "Red Dead Redemption 2" to be released have once again filled the gaming community.
Fans started to anticipate the game's sequel launch when Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick made a teasing statement during an interview. Zelnick confirmed that the company will be present during the E3 2016 conference and will be expected "in a big way," according to GameNGuide.
The statement got fans speculating that the CEO might be referring to a new "Grand Theft Auto 6" installment or a revelation of "Red Dead Redemption 2."
It was also reported that the company confirmed that both games were permanent titles.
Furthermore, rumors about the game fired up when a fan noticed that there's a new content listed under the "Red Dead" page of Rockstar Games official website. All of the game series were there such as "Red Dead Redemption," "Red Dead Revolver," and "Red Dead Undead Nightmare," according to Segment Next.
There was a fourth content placed on the same page along with the others, however, it doesn't have a title aside from being listed as "hiddentext." Segment Next posted a screenshot as an evidence of the news since it was quickly taken down from the website.
According to the news from Fraghero, an anonymous source sent an email relaying some information about the rumored game. The message revealed that the sequel will be titled "Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West," which will also be introduced at E3.
The game will allegedly be available in 2017 and will feature an extended map and more playable characters. Despite all the details, Fraghero posted a disclaimer that the information from the email was not verified.
On the other hand, fans who watched Sony's live stream event at E3 said that there was no news were shared with regards to the rumored game and its speculated HD remake, according to Express.co.uk.
As of the moment, fans and gamers have to wait for Rockstar Game's official statement about the rumored "Red Dead Redemption 2."
