After the scheduled release date of "Pokémon Go" in Japan, Game-producer Niantic decided to postpone the launch due to an email leak.

TechCrunch reported that due to unforeseen circumstances, Niantic had to cancel the scheduled release date of "Pokémon Go" in Japan. At first, it was just to be postponed for an afternoon release, but the company ended up postponing the release date afterall.

One of the major reasons for cancelling the scheduled release date was due to the game's sponsor, McDonald's, information leaking all over the Internet forums especially 2ch and reddit.

The email instally became viral and the developers saw this as a possible cause of overloading the game. TechCrunch's sources explained that this greatly concerned Niantic as it would greatly affect the initial impressions in the country, hence the postponement.

Nobody have any solid information as to when exactly the game will be rescheduled and released. The game will be released, but no specifics as of yet according to the news outlet's sources.

Forbes reported before that Ninantic CEO John Hanke assured that the game will have enough servers to handle crazy numbers of potential players in Japan. Taking extra measures to make this happen was inevitable as it had seemed.

The game is currently available in 30 countries and it is good to know that these releases are going fine even with the recent rollout in Europe a few days ago. It may still be a question to some as to why Asia, particularly Japan, wasn't part of the initial release.

This matter just got bigger, affecting Nintendo shares in a negative way. CNBC reported that some Asian market sectors dropped in figures following the delayed release of "Pokémon Go" in Japan.

Nintendo went down to 12.61 percent. Figures dropped more than a hundred percent since the game's initial release.

Even with all these going, fans are hopeful that an official release will be made in other Asian countries like India, and eventually South America.
