Sony To Unveil Xperia Z6 At IFA 2016? Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Chip, 30MP Rear Camera, Better Battery For A $700 Price?
Vivian E.Speculations are rife that Sony is going to unveil a new Xperia Z6 over the next couple of months. The Japanese electronics giant traditionally comes out with a new Xperia every September.
Hence, it has been rumored that an all new Xperia Z6 could be Sony's next flagship smartphone when it launches in September during the upcoming IFA 2016 event.
According to Alphr, the new Sony Xperia Z6 is expected to have a display of 5.2 inches with 1080 x 1920 pixel IPS LCD, equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. It is said that Xperia Z6 can handle 4K videos at 60-fps and 30-fps wirelessly.
For the memory specifications, the Xperia Z6 is said to have a 3 gigabytes RAM along with a 32GB built-in storage. Other speculated the smartphone features include a 30 MP rear camera with dual LED flash and 8 MP front camera for better selfies and high-quality videos.
With a speculated price range from $700 to $800, Android Standard reported that the Xperia Z6 might be furnished with a non-removable 4000 mAh Li-Po battery in hope to give better backup and standby time.
The publication added that the rumored device will support a Quick Charge 3.0, which charges Xperia Z6 up to 86 percent in not less than 35 minutes. While nothing is impossible, the said claims must be taken a grain of salt unless an official from Sony confirms it.
Meanwhile, this year's IFA event will happen in Berlin from Sept. 2 to 7. The five-day trade show is expected to showcase a whole new line of devices for tech consumers. Stay tuned for more Xperia Z6 news and updates here.
