'Skyrim: Special Edition': What Fans Need To See Out-Of-The-Box; Multiplayer, Immersion and More
C. de Lacy"Skyrim: Special Edition" is already set for release this coming October and fans are more than excited to once again, fill in the shoes of a Dragonborn. What features should we look forward in this remaster that will make the experience even more epic?
Elder Scrolls fans are in for a treat for the major facelift that "Skyrim" will be getting in "Skyrim: Special Edition." Modern gaming features like hi-res textures, sound effects, volumetric god rays and "bokeh" style depth-of-field are already expected.
However, Pete Hines did state that on top of these additional features, the game's immersion will be increased potentially with the availability of mods.
"Also bring the full power of mods to consoles. New quests, environments, characters, dialogue, armour, weapons and more - with Mods, there are no limits to what you can experience."
Here are some fan-favorite mods that we need to see implemented in "Skyrim: Special Edition";
Yes. We already have "Elder Scrolls" online for those who would like to experience Elder Scrolls in a massive multiplayer online RPG experience.
Even if the two games share the same "Elder Scrolls"' name, "Skyrim" is a totally different game from TESO (The Elder Scrolls Online).
One big difference is the inclusion of dragons. After all, Skyrim is about a Dragonborn's adventure. It also does not have the MMO feel for the quests as well.
Tamriel Online is in its early stages, but if this would be well-implemented, it will bring an entirely new gaming experience WITH the possibility of additional mods or add-ons. These aren't even available for TESO.
Another mod that should have been included in "Skyrim: Special Edition." It is already given that Bethesda is going to bring us "Skyrim" with the graphical overhaul in steroids.
It would be a great addition to the immersion to include Climates of Tamriel as this simply adds a whopping 506 new weather systems in the game.
It even cranks up the beauty of the game's visuals by adding an insanely redesigned sky depth and visuals and equally engrossing sound effects of thunders, rain, and ambiance.
For those players seeking for a more realistic feel in the game, Realistic Needs and Diseases may come in handy to increase the overall immersion.
If this would be supported in "Skyrim: Special Edition," this would greatly another depth in the already complex game.
Unlike the normal diseases that players get in the game, the mod turns these small annoyances to serious encumbrances as they progress and worsens.
Eating will also be another thing to keep in mind as the players will need to eat regularly as well as drink water. It is also worth noting the foods do get spoiled over time. This is realistic and immersive as it can get.
There are still tons of tons of amazing mods for "Skyrim" and let's look forward to these add-ons once "Skyrim: Special Edition" gets released soon
